Monophyletic, but nested within Grammitis (Sundue et al., 2014). Grammitis s.s. was found to be paraphyletic with regards to Cochlidium in Sundue et al. (2014), but the type, Grammitis marginella, has not been sampled. We prefer to maintain both of these as they are circumscribed until additional data becomes available.
